Today, I spent the morning with the S Family.  First, I hung out with Big Brother S, while Baby Brother M snoozed.  Big Brother S taught me all about Bakugan, and also about the difference between bugs and insects.

Then, it was outside with Big Brother S for some time with Daddy.

Then, sweet Little Brother M woke up and was ready to join us!  He was flashing his million watt grin all over the place!

What a fun family these guys were!  Mom had us all laughing with her stories, and Dad was the best assistant a photographer can have – he got his baby to smile!  Thanks, S Family!  Hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!

Last weekend, I had the honor of participating in my friend Mindy’s holiday party.  She has vendors whose work she enjoys there, and she asked me to come with some of my work and a slideshow.  It was a great time!  She had an incredibly delicious lunch set out, an awesome bluegrass band in her barn, and lots of great friends and family around.  She also has a 12 acre horse farm which houses five or six horses, two pigs, a chicken named Lemon and a rooster, a mini horse, and, my son’s favorite, the emu.  I was admittedly a little scared of the horses, but the emu was a okay in my book.  She tried to peck my lens a few times, THANK GOODNESS she missed, but I got a great shot of her.

Close enough to kiss!

Thanks for a great day, Mindy!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet boy and his mama, to try to get some of the last bit of pretty fall color and some photos for the upcoming holidays. Mr. Nate was quite seriously observing everything in the park: planes, his choo choo, and the squirrels, and telling me about all of them. He must have been pretty wary of me, because it was hard to get him to crack a smile at first. Until I threw up some leaves and yelled about how yucky they were (thanks for the tip, Mama). Belly laughs galore. After that, he was all smiles! Although it was hard not to be with such a fun, sweet mama. I could absolutely feel the love between them; you can see how much fun they have together.

I hope you did not miss those lashes, dear reader. They are a thing to behold. Gorgeous! K, it was great meeting you guys yesterday! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Yesterday, I got to spend some time with this gorgeous mama – to – be and her sweet husband. They were so in love and so tender with each other, you could really feel how in love they are! And, with all of that love to go around, I am sure that the little baby they are expecting will just be the most loved baby ever. Baby boy or baby girl, though; now that is the question! I am going on the record with girl. But, as I told you, I am almost always wrong.

Thanks for the introduction to this beautiful part of the park! We did manage to grab the last bit of light on an amazingly warm fall day. I hope you like your sneak peek, E and R, and I can’t wait to meet your little one.

The last of the individual portraits I finished today! I didn’t want to hold them up by waiting for the last few group shots, so I’ve uploaded Mrs. D’s class in the galleries too! (A few guests/siblings who wanted to get in on the fun are in here too). These guys were adorable. Some serious, some jokey, all sweet. What an incredible bunch of young kids this group is! I am so glad I had the opportunity to spend some time photographing these kids and to give their parents a little something different.

Here’s a student from the kindergarten class who was all smiles for me the whole time! I’m pretty sure I didn’t get one shot of this cutie where he wasn’t beaming.

Thanks, Parents, for having me out! I hope you enjoy the photos of your darlings.

This group was the younger of the two classes I photographed, and so sweet. These kids were smiley and eager to please. And, they listened! Each child would come to be photographed and look at me with their sweet little puppy eyes, just waiting for direction. Then, they went and joined their friends and sent the next child in line over to me. Parents and Mrs. F, you guys are clearly a great team! You’ve got a charming bunch of kids. Go check out their gallery, posted as “Mrs. F’s Class” in the gallery tab.

And, here are all of the little cuties together!

I had the absolute pleasure yesterday of going to do the school photographs at a small preschool that is very close to my heart, as I attended it myself as a child. I was thrilled to get home and edit the over 500 photos that I took (!), however, my husband and his love of technology had other plans for the computer last night. So, I have only one photo to share, and the hopes that I will spend a long time tonight and naptime tomorrow editing my little heart out! It’s torment, too, that the one I have, I absolutely love. 3846 argueta bw web

Mama L, I hope you love it.
Preschool parents, more to come soon!
