I might be biased, but I’m pretty sure I have the best clients in the Philadelphia area! These two curly cuties are no exception. What a sweet brother and sister pair – hugging, running hand in hand, seriously – enough to bring a tear to your eye.

These guys were full of both energy and smiles; I can’t think of anything more that a photographer could ask for out of two little kids on a brisk Saturday morning.
I present to you: The Smiley Miss S

And, her sweet brother, Big Mr. H

Aren’t they sweet?!

Family portraits: At first, serious. But then they devolve into tickles.

Big Brother, Soulful. I couldn’t resist including both the black and white and the color versions.

A truly beautiful family!

Thanks, you guys are the best!

It was clearly kismet when this family drove up to meet me for their photo session.  They had an orange car; I had an orange couch!  And from there, the fun began.  Beautiful outfits, gorgeous location, adorable and fun family – what more could you ask for, right?  Mr. J, whom I understand is the most easygoing baby alive, came down with an awful case of hives when he got home, but despite not feeling himself, you can see he was giving out some big, charming smiles.  And, who wouldn’t?!  His parents adore him and are darling themselves!  Plus, mom’s styling of the session was awesome, right?  I am so lucky to have the best clients ever!

This sweet family was awaiting this little man’s arrival the last you saw them here.  Well, the wait is over.  His whole family has fallen madly in love with this sweet, laid back little man.  I couldn’t get over the striking resemblance to his big brother and his daddy, but mom says he has big sister’s long fingers, too.  How could they not fall in love with this sweet thing?

Don’t you want this picture in your house?  I do and it’s not even my kid!

I just loved how he tucked his teensy little pinky finger in.

What stunning parents!

Who doesn’t love a baby in a basket?

Sleepy little love.

I feel so honored to have had this family entrust me with these amazing memories.  I hope you guys will love these photos as much as I enjoyed making them and as much as I enjoyed getting to know you!  I love when a client ends up as a friend.

This could be your family photo.

These could be hanging on your walls.

Time Preference

I’m not sure which I love more, the location in these photos, the amazing outfits that Mom put together or this family.  I mean, the first time I talked to the mom on the phone, I adored her.  We talked clothes, we laughed, it was like chatting with a friend.  I was excited to meet them and shoot their family of four as they anticipated the arrival of their third baby, a boy, on his way before you know it.  We had to reschedule due to some minor illness and cruddy weather, but on the day of the session, bright and early, the weather was amazing, the location was tranquil, and the kids were troopers.  The ground was wet and Baby Girl (Bear, as she is known) does not like to get her feet wet or grassy.  But, the bribe candies kept her focused, and we were able to keep her happy.  Big Brother was my helper, he kept me entertained and carried my chair for me.  He was so darling!  Dad was happy to keep the kids so that we could get some solo shots of Mom too; what a guy!  What a sweet, sweet family the S Family is.

As for the photos, I do not think I could choose a favorite from this session.  So lovely.  If you are thinking of maternity or family photos, note how excellent it looks when the clothes are coordinated (not matchy matchy, just solidly complimentary).  I love outdoor family photos!

So, without further ado – the photos!

Enjoy, S Family!  Can’t wait to meet your newest addition next week!
