Newborn photographer Philadelphia | Baby Brother
This blog post is going to sound a lot like the one just below it, because the story is similar. I had a newborn session with this family, and fell madly in love with them. Big brother is the most adorable-est ever. He was sharing all kinds of knowledge with me (he is one smart cookie!) and he was dressed like a baby man and just had a million watt smile that stole my heart as soon as he flashed it. I fell in love with mom over the phone, even before her session. The maternity session just cemented it. And dad was the smiling, happy glue of the family. So, when I got the news that baby brother had made his arrival on the scene, I was pretty giddy. He arrived in my studio as a chunky ten pounder (wait until you see this squish!) and was happy to do everything I asked of him and more (cue the angels singing). Plus, I know I snuck in a cuddle or two, and that's always a bonus.Truly, this session is a favorite and I can't wait for you to see the awesomeness that is this session. (there are many. I couldn't help it.) I love him in this pose because you can see how chunky he is, and it shows off the marvel that are those CHEEKS. See als0: lips. <3
This baby just has the most exquisite lips. He's gorgeous, right? And the mix of textures on the prop is almost too much, yet really, just perfectly enough.
Squishy cheeks, arms, lips, even fingers have a little squish. I love all of the steely blue/gray tones in this photo. He was made for this bucket.
Just, yes. His finger placement here and his long beautiful eyelashes. I love this pose and I love him in this bonnet.
Big brother and I did these next two photos ourselves - he came and helped me and we laughed and laughed over all of the props we were giving him. His big brother is crazy about him and has the cutest laugh and the tiniest little teeth.
But these. These next three photos make my heart sing. I love everything about this one - that you can see the smile on brother's face just from his eyes. That you can absolutely feel the love pouring out of dad. Him and his boys. Baby's cheeks and fingers and head tilt. I love it all.
Again. Brother. My heart. Look at the dreamy look on his face. Look at his sweet hand on his mama. Look at HER! Look how gorgeous her babies are. Look at how beautiful she is. Also, their clothes just effortlessly MATCH? Come on.
Brother. Please let me photograph you every day. His face. He's so serious. He's in love. His mama. His brother. Her pride. Oh, I might make a tear spring up in my eye.
This smile says it all. A session for the record books. Cheeks, legs, that hair, those lashes. This baby was such a joy - he made my job so easy.
That was a bit more than I normally share but I couldn't help myself. It's funny how the last two sessions I really fell in love with the family at the maternity sessions and it makes me rethink if maybe I should offer a bundle because it seems like such a nice way to get to know someone before I photograph their little one.If you are expecting, please get in touch early!
