Hi, I’m Jamie! I’m a Philadelphia photographer who specializes in newborn photography and baby photography through 1st birthday as well as a mom to a teenager who loves sports. I’m a coffee lover who is obsessed with my pit bull. I’m a wife of almost twenty years. I ride a scooter. My favorite color is orange. This year, I became an aunt for the first time and I am one proud auntie. It is my belief that I must have a gift for the baby every time I see her.

My family has been in Philly for generations. I’m an Eagles fan, a Phillies fan, and a Penn State grad who’s the daughter of a Penn State grad, so we can talk about all kinds of sports all day long. I’m in love with the city of Philadelphia. I love it here, even in August. I truly think it’s the best city in America, if not the world. I’ve done Philly-themed cake smashes with Tastykakes and soft pretzels. I have newborn props for every team in the city, and did you see my Fresh Prince-themed cake smash?

I have been in love with photography since I took a black-and-white photography class in middle school. I remember taking a photo of the grooves of a piece of an engine and trying to get the contrast right in the darkroom. I was hooked and have been trying to show people what I see with my camera ever since. It evolved into baby photography when I became a mom myself and became obsessed with documenting my child’s life. I started learning everything I could in 2008 and have been working hard to improve ever since. I have photographed more than 400 babies since then. I opened my photography studio in 2014 and it honestly feels like yesterday. I am truly in love with what I do - not just the cute but the details. The lighting. The angles. The learning. The technical stuff that bores most people.

I love weightlifting and going to the gym (most of the time), I love the shore, and I love to watch tv. I’m competitive, opinionated, funny, and kind. Once you hire me, you’re a part of my tribe, and yep! We just became best friends.
