New Year, New Me, New Session for You
I’m pretty terrible about blogging my sessions. Which is actually a shame, because then the world is being deprived of all of the cuteness that there is to see in these sessions. And, listen. I am writing this post while uploading to Instagram, messaging a client on Facebook, checking out whatever Whoop is, and potentially signing up for a yearlong collective about maternity sessions. It’s not like I’m focused, but it’s happening. You are welcome.
On to the adorable session. So, this family came to me for their baby’s six month session. Oh, gosh. He is so adorable. And so so sweet. It was so much fun to photograph this little guy - what a gorgeous, happy little dream boy. Exhibit one, below, in both black and white and color, for your viewing pleasure. HOW ADORABLE is that big, gummy, open mouthed smile? I feel like you can see his sweetness.
And there’s more of that smile! I love him in this cute outfit, which is actually from my studio closet. I have yet to see a baby who wasn’t perfection in this.
Oh, gosh, he’s just so sweet, isn’t he?! Details are everything in a photo like this, so I’m specifically looking at: the way his toes are curled over, the little rolls in his neck, the piece of hair flipped up at his ear and the opposite shoulder, and really, a lot more but most of all the thin-lipped smile. And the sweet, sweet expression on his face! He’s just too sweet.
SO CUTE! Such an expressive guy, and so so happy. I love all of the photos that his parents selected from this session. Parent selections are mostly what I wind up sharing with you since they’re mostly what gets edited! (Sometimes I’ll edit ones that I love that got left behind, but often, parents make the selections I would have made, too!)
The best part about waiting so long to blog this session is that Baby E and his family are coming to see me THIS WEEKEND for his one year session! So, I got to revisit these adorable photos AND I’ll get to see him soon too and create more!
