Delco Baby Photographer | Welcome Baby Girl

Should photos match the season? Like, do you feel like light yellows and pinks are good for the spring, where deep oranges and greens are more suited for fall? This little baby was born in the fall, and even has the middle name “Autumn” to honor that. We absolutely incorporated all colors fall and even some fall leaves into her session. Tell me in the comments how you feel about the colors matching the season. I will share some of the fall photos here so that you can get a feel for what I mean.

I’m a big fan of tonal harmony - you know, where the colors are all in the same color family and maybe aren’t the exact same shade but blend well together. Even though the headband is more floral than fall, I still feel that it works perfectly with this setup. I actually love this so much that I ordered it as a studio sample for one of the new pieces I will be offering this year, acrylic wall art. It’s stunning; stay tuned for images to come once my sample arrives.

Here is another example of some beautiful fall colors and also some tonal harmony. Also, this baby was just so sweet and so chill. Definitely one of those babies that makes you look and feel like you are a rockstar, when the majority of the credit actually has to be given to the baby and their chill parents.

Here’s some more tonal harmony with colors more on the pinky end of the spectrum, but rich and jewel toned vs. pastels. I think I love jewel tones just a smidge more than pastels - how about you? Jewel? Neutrals? Pastel? What do you prefer to see in a newborn session?

Also, when I first posted this image on my instagram, we had a bit of conversation in the comments regarding what I will call boo boo faces. Basically, a non smiling or serene face, but something more like what is shown below - sweet but with some emotion shown. I personally adore it. It’s not distress, it’s just one of the faces that babies make when they are sleeping, and I feel like they do this a LOT! To me, it’s insanely adorable. How about you?

I love froggy pose. Always. Not even a little ashamed to say this is my favorite newborn pose. Pretty sure it’s the hands cupping the cheeks like that that makes me love it so. Also the peeky toes, although we only have them here on one side. Maybe that’s not “perfect” but every baby gonna baby. They do what they want!

Siiiiiiiigh. I just love this. Two sharing their love and becoming three. LOVE love love. Doesn’t love make people even more beautiful than they already were?
