Baby Sister is One! | Philly Baby Photos

When you tell a story, begin at the beginning. So, the beginning with these two parents to be was that I met them for a maternity session with their dogs when they were expecting their first baby. I’ve photographed them now more times than I can count, probably the most of any family in my client list.

To say I love them and their family would be a gross understatement. I feel so lucky to know them. I’ve photographed all of their babies’ newborn sessions - we have laughed because Dad is so silly and Mama lets him shine. She has it all together - seamlessly going from a family of three to four to five. She’s stunning and kind and honestly, just an amazing human being. When she comes to my studio, it’s like getting to spend time with an old friend. Newborn sessions become six month old sessions quickly. Then we are at the one year point. Then it’s family sessions. Nicole really loves photos. I’m grateful for that! I’ve also gotten to meet many of her fabulous friends because she is kind enough to share how much she appreciates having great photos of her kids.

Last summer I got to spend some time on the beach with them and their kids, and my husband and son. I’m like, this is my life? I’m this lucky to have such amazing clients that we meet up at the beach and I get to play with their adorable kids?

This session is a tiny bit bittersweet as it’s the one year session (so third session) of her third baby. I don’t think I’m speaking out of turn to call this their youngest/last baby.

So, I’m going to share some of the cute photos from baby #3’s session. Mom made this cake herself - healthy with greek yogurt and strawberries cause that’s how she rolls. I loved this session and baby and family. I’ll be over here in the corner crying about babies growing up.

If you’ve ever read one of my first year blog posts, you have to know how obsessed I am with little babies’ teethies. Oh gosh - look at how SWEET and precious she is.

DON’T ACT LIKE YOU CAN’T SEE THAT SHE HAS TWO DIMPLES. <3 I can’t with that smile.

We’ve done this image for her at her newborn, six month and now one year sessions. I love seeing how baby changes but also stays the same in these timeless images in black and white. I try to keep these consistent throughout baby’s first year.

Here is a morph of the images from her three first year milestone sessions - newborn, sitter, and one year. Isn’t this wild? I’ve watched it an insane number of times.

Happiest birthday to you, little one. You and your siblings are so so loved. Your parents are the best.
